CEDRIC "THE ENTERTAINER"
Host of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire"

Stand-up comedian and popular film and television actor Cedric "The Entertainer" will debut as the new host of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" with the launch of the hit game show's 12th season on September 2, 2013.

Cedric is perhaps most widely known for his work on the record-breaking "Kings of Comedy" tour with Steve Harvey, the late Bernie Mac and D.L. Hughley, which led to the hit film "The Original Kings of Comedy." Other film credits include "Barbershop" (2002), "Ice Age" (2002), "Madagascar" (2005), "Be Cool" (2005), "Larry Crowne" (2011) and "A Haunted House" (2013), among others. He also will be featured in Disney's upcoming animated film "Planes," set to premiere August 9.

Cedric currently stars in and executive produces TV Land's sitcom "The Soul Man" (with co-star Niecy Nash), a spinoff of "Hot in Cleveland." He transitioned from stand-up comedian to television actor in 1996, making his acting debut on The WB's "The Steve Harvey Show."

In addition to his work as a comedian and actor, Cedric is an entrepreneur, launching a hat line called Who Ced in 2011.

Cedric has three children. When not taping "Millionaire" in New York City, he and his wife reside in Los Angeles.
